all I can think of is 'S pain' but it doesn't make sense!

S tone has been offered but I don't see 'Tone' as a stimulus.

One definition of "tone" is "(a) Music and Acoustics. A sound of definite pitch and character produced by regular vibration of a sounding body"

I was thinking it was a human body but it was only after I checked the OED, I seen the definition.

Striking a (usually) solid body, such as a tuning fork, stimulates vibrations to produce a tone.
