Covid

Two days ago cousin and told me about one of her colleagues having the Covid. This girl had it last January and after self-isolating went crazy when she came back to work about cleaning, gloves, aprons, masks and made sure the the furniture was cleaned separated the desks.

Now after receiving her 2 vaccinations and being cautious - she has it again. What's that about?

It demonstrates that there’s no place to hide. It’s out there and is not going away. Live in fear, or, get on with your life.

She can clean and polish all she likes, but the transmission of Covid is airborne. She has been in close contact with someone who has the infection and she has "caught it".

It might JJ, but just be sensible. Have your vaccinations and avoid crowds.

Sqad I thought the vaccinations were to keep you "safe".

Only partly JJ it is to ensure that if youdo get the illness, it is less severe, reducing the pressure on hospital admissions.

Shes more likely to have got it from hugging a friend or having a sneaky snog than from her furniture. Tell her vaccination does not preclude her from getting the virus or passing it on. Those in the community that thinks it gives them carte blanche to do whatever they did before Covid are all going to find this out in about six months time I reckon.

I caught Covid although I had had the two jabs. It was only rough for a couple of days, rather like a very bad flu, actually I thought I had sinusitis until the dr. told me to get tested. The worst thing was losing my sense of smell and taste, which have returned now. I am very thankful to have had the jabs and reckon it would have been much much worse had I not.
