Possibly like others, my iPad I player playback keeps trying to catch up with itself an remains static until it does catch up but this is repetitive. My Vierra tv has the same problem on I playertv Can my router be causing this, or is it something I have to live with?
Have you checked what download speed you're getting? You need in excess of 5 Mbps (perhaps nearer to 10 Mbps for the greatest reliability) for HD streaming and at least 2 MBps (with perhaps 5 Mbps being better) for SD streaming.

Have been on to talk talk and all is good with their end and Router after a lengthy check through with me. I am getting way above my router allowance and I have no other problems. They did say it could be my app having trouble for this so I will delete all on mobile, I player and tv for a short while and reinstall.Will let you know .
Spent time with provider and a full check on set up proved speeds I am getting are in excess of guarantee and no other problems, like me they thought of app. I deleted all and rejoined, definitely a major difference, so thanks all.
