Play Store

I am having problems with Google on my tablet. When I go into the Play Store I get a message saying that someth8ng is wrong. I have looked at my Google account and I think I have done everything asked of me.
When I go into Google on my phone everything is fine. Any help please ?

Clear the cache on your tablet

Have cleared cache but when I go into Play Store I get "authentication needed"

do you get authenticate by phone or tablet popup send code etc

The authentication is required notice is a pop up

then send for txt authenticate

Now please don't shout at me but after googling txt authententicate I received a lot of things that did not mean anything to me. Is there an easy way to tell me what to do ?

Check your phone for a message - it will say something like 'are you trying to log in to google on a different device' and give you option to press Yes or No. Tap Yes
