Being on my own tonight, I looked at my back list of recordings. I have a 26 year old one of "keeping up appearances " where hyacinth goes to the mayors ball. Right at the very end I am in it, as one of a crowd looking on.
God I look so much younger, took me a moment to recognise myself!

caran - just wondered how your husband is getting on with the cochlear implant

He is doing ok with it JJ. He has to go back to the hospital every month to have it retuned as he becomes too used to it. So they make it louder for him each time.
I think though he heard better with his old hearing aids but it's too late, you can't go back.
