TTT, does it really need the inordinate use of power for mining, if so why ? ( is it doing/solving useless complex mathematical cryptographic problems OR it really takes that huge energy expenditure to fix the next block chain transactional block, so even an official, legal Central Bank block chain cryptographical currency would need a similar enormous energy requirement ?)

seveop: 19:18, yes sadly it does basically you have a mathematical calculation to do to find a number that satisfies the criteria.
