Channel 4 Subtitles

Is there a reason why there are no subtitles on channel 4 but ok on all the others? Anyone else experiencing this and how can I solve it?

Yes it started during Celebrity SAS last night and still no subtitles.

Red Bee Media, which handles the technical side of broadcasting for many companies and organisation, had a fire at their Broadcast Centre in Wood Lane, London yesterday. It took several channels off air for a while and they're still trying to get everything back to normal with the Freeview transmissions that are coordinated from there.

It’s not a Freeview channel though, it’s just C4. All other channels OK, but I’m glad it’s not a problem only with my TV! Anybody else got the same problem?

The channels that were particularly hit by the fire yesterday were Channel 4 and Channel 5. They were the only two to actually go off air. The problems only affected the Freeview transmissions of those channels though and not those on Freesat, Sky or the All4 and My5 streaming services

So it would be reasonable to expect that only Freeview has lost Channel 4 subtitles for the time being.

On pointless too, the subtitles are so out of sync.

Now the subtitles aren't working on channel five either.
