It’s still awful round my area, most of the petrol stations have no fuel. One got a delivery yesterday and the queues were horrendous causing traffic jams. The petrol station had sold out by the evening. It’s definitely not over.
The problem is that depending on where you live the situation is different.
Personally I think the media have a lot to answer for although the Government should watch how it words things in the future. Telling people not ot panic and keep a 1/4 tank will cause, well panic. And as Bobb says, its the bog roll mentality.
it's pretty quiet round here, drove past 5 stations this morning, only one had a queue and that was only about 3 cars. I went to the cash point in one and it was only me and some guy pumping up his tyres.
Yes pretty quiet at our local petrol station -because they run out of blinking diesel on Monday ! The only petrol vehicles we have are sportscars and a motorbike. Just wondering how many sheep I can get to market next Monday in a 1937 Triumph Roadster lol!
We went to a Tesco Extra not far from Croydon last night and they had to form a queue for petrol in the car park with bollards. It was around 20-30 cars long but moving. We were there just for groceries and got stuck in the queue.
