I ask this because I actually sent a parcel to a London address as they were going to Lanzarote this week and our friend needed something from Amazon anc asked if I could get it and they’d take it across, it wasn’t valuable and I chose to pay first class option and paid £3-95 after PO assistant weighed it

//Your parceI has been redirected to the IocaI Post Office branch due to an unpaid shipping fee. PIease visit postoffice.branch-rebooking.com to pay and rebook.///

Bobbi, why do you think that it is a scam?
Scam. The post office uses a .co.uk address
Yes it's a scam. That domain is registered to a company in Reykjavik.

Because of its content Danny, the parcel I sent was legitimately weighed at my PO and I paid the outage on it so shy would they say I’d underpaid?

Thanks guys
Ah! thanks Barry,
How would the post office know your phone number or email address?
How would the Post Office know your mobile number?
How did a scammer know that you were posting a parcel or was it just a coincidence?
Question Author
I think more a coincidence Elliemay1
@The Chair - 1348.

How do you find out where a domain is registered?
Question Author
That’s true TCL , it comes hot on the heels though of me wanting to locate said parcel which was posted on the 22/09
Jackdaw, you use a website like this one
https://who.is/
The message also seems to imply that it's a parcel being sent *to* you, and you need to pay a fee to receive it.
In any case it is the recipient that has to pay any postage shortfall or customs, duty etc - not the sender

Pasta at first I thought it might be the ‘missing’ parcel that I’m now trying to locate , you can’t claim till after 10 working days and it was posted on the 22/9
Thank you, Barry.
