What is the UK equivalent to Radio Shack?

Radio Shack used to trade in the UK as Tandy. They've now ceased trading, so there's no direct equivalent.

A few Radio Shack products are still imported by some independent UK dealers but most of their products are too expensive to compete in the UK market.

The nearest equivalent national company is now Maplin Electronics:

PS: If you're searching for a specific Radio Shack product, you should note that many of their products are (or were) sold under the 'Realistic' brandname in this country.
