It might help to make things clear if you were to explain WHY you can't get the prescription. Has a doctor refused to issue it (and, if so, on what grounds) or is it that your local pharmacy is out of stock?

Also, does the problem relate to a repeat prescription or is it that you're trying to get the drugs prescribed for your son but your GP (or specialist) doesn't think that they're appropriate?

Does the way you spell "sulfate" imply that you don't live in the UK where "sulphate" is more common?
