Iplayer Buffering Since Last Night
7 Answers
Just trying to catch up on the last series of line of duty.
My "big" tv in the lounge has a Firestick, which is how I usually watch iplayer.
Since last night it has constantly buffered. I have turned off the tv and waited half an hour, then tried again with no luck. Still getting the buffering red ring spinning.
Tried again this afternoon, with the same problem, so I unplugged the Firestick, turned everything off, and waited another half hour in the hopes things would kick in.
I've just gone back, and the damned thing is STILL buffering.
Is there anything I should be trying.
Many thanks.

If you are sure that your wifi and router are OK then you may need to restart your firestick. Launch the firestick in the usual way then select "Settings" from the horizontal list at the top of the screen. Then select "My Fire TV" in the next menu. Then select "Restart". You may be asked to confirm this action, do so. The stick should reboot and get you going again.
