How can I deposit money into someone else's bank account quickly and easily over my phone or laptop? Can someone provide a step by step guide?

You need their bank sorting code and account numbers. Open your bank's app or log on in a the browser and find 'transfer money'.

Try Moneygram. I've used it via the self service machines in W H Smith but you can do it online if you have the receivers account number, bank branch etc. There is a small fee depending on the amount transferred but you can check it online first to make sure it's for you.
