Are You A Square Peg In A Round Hole?
39 Answers
Try as they may, some people appear to be life's losers, failing consistently to get along with those around them, finding themselves, metaphorically, walking the plank on a regular basis, and very often blaming anyone and anything apart from themselves. Are you one of them - and if so, why do you think that is?

Montgomery Clift plays one of the other main characters.
He came up with one of the best lines, which has always been a sort of mantra for me...........
Asked why they go off into the desert to round up wild horses for a living, he says:
"Anything's better than wages..." ;o)

I have lots of really good friends in real life and get on with everyone. I'm the sort of person people start to randomly talk to in a queue. My friends are my friends because we are honest, I will go out and pick someone up after midnight if they've missed a ride, give them money to pay a vets bill or buy them something they need. But also they know I will tell the truth if their bum looks big in that skirt or their hairstyle doesn't suit them. 'Ask AuntP she'll tell you straight' is a mantra I'd rather have than falsely massaging a strangers ego to make false friends. This attitude doesn't transpose well into public forums where people have 'agendas' and feign 'outrage' for their own purposes.
Mamya - // Perhaps Togo is using the scatter gun approach, risky. //
Possibly.
Doubt that it's risky though, most people will simply assume it is not addressed to them, and ignore it, and that may include the actual intended recipient(s) if there is one / are any.
Sometimes people can be cryptic to the point of oblivion.
