You get on a plane and the cabin crew / pilot says Good Morning Ladies & Gentlemen, would you be offended by that?
All this binary twaddle is a step too far, they even say they don’t want to make CHILDREN feel left out !!!!

I guarantee that if anyone here got on a flight and the captain said, "Good morning - I'm captain Chesley Sullenberger and my co-pilot is Jeff Skiles. We would like to welcome passengers on this flight to...etc"

No-one but NO-ONE would think anything of it.*

However, with this small change (which no-one would notice) you effectively include everyone on the flight.

(*Unless this happened in 2009 and you were flying out of New York!)

i don't know how i got into this, Waterboatman started GMEB as a way of getting the morning off to a nice start, as he has taken a back seat for the time being i thought to continue on, it's a lovely way to start the day, birds doesn't refer to women but those that fly, crikey...
personally i have rarely listened to the announcements as being too oiled to notice, a bad flier am I..

If you're sloshed at the point of the safety instructions, I tip my hat to you...that's good going!

Does it really matter that much to you Bobbi?
I hope none of your grandkids ever change their preferences
Some women I know certainly aren't ladies, nor all the men gentlemen. Harridans and hooligans.
