Opening hours aren't restricted but, until the end of this month, there's still a legal requirement for 1 metre social distancing to be observed in pubs in Northern Ireland. Many publicans have stated that the restriction has been hitting their trade badly, so many are probably deciding to keep their premises closed during quieter period of the day and to only open when there are sufficient customers about to justify paying their staff wages.
