Covid Test Before An Operation / Scan ?
7 Answers
Hello, I was under the impression that I no longer have to go to a COVID testing station (at my hospital) before a scan & I did the test myself at home, https:/ /www.go v.uk/go vernmen t/publi cations /testin g-for-c oronavi rus-bef ore-hos pital/t esting- for-cov id-19-b efore-a -hospit al-proc edure but today I've had a letter telling me that I will have to go to a testing station - is this correct? I am only having an internal scan.

Each hospital (or, more accurately, each hospital trust) will have its own rules. I needed to have a PCR test at my local hospital before my minor urology op last month.
