I can't believe the weather we are having, sunny and warm, why couldn't it be like that during the summer months, beats me..

Its a pleasant start but cool up here in Preston. A walk is planned this morning from Dunsop Bridge in the Trough of Bowland

I am lucky, when I was a child I was given loads of craft and art stuff and as most of my family were creative types I grew up thinking it was natural to do stuff. I the went to a school that had a very high profile art dept where I had lots of opportunities to experiment. Turned down an art college place though as I needed to bring money into the family.

It's been a lifetime thing one way or another, goes in phases last year it was chunky knitted throws and quilts, this year painting and a rug, next year could be glass painting or something else. I have obsessive spells where I do a thing for months.
