Just a short note to say I'm doing well, with the help of a brilliant privste physio who is putting me through boot camp!!
Again many thanks for all AB friends who helped me through the night and gave me lots of encouragement laughs. And especially Choux for staying on line all night - a gold medal.xx

I did ask how you were on episode 4, Lottie. Delighted you are making progress, keep up with the boot camp :)
Blow the physio! Just get a nice comfy carpet laid in the bathroom, together with installing a well-stocked mini-bar in there, just in case it happens again!

Thanks Choux and Lol Chris.

Choux, apparently my kneecap had been subluxed andgone back in the wrong place for years and the fall pushed it over further. No wonder my leg has been going its own way for years!!
That sounds so painful, poor you. Hopefully the physio might just help you to recover some ground? At least you know why you were having such problems before hand.

The ribs are much better!

Night night, I'm off to my horrible hospital bed!! I want to go upstairs tomour bed, but that might take a while. The cat still insists on sleeping with me!
Saves on getting a hot water bottle lol.
You were worried that the ribs would be the last part to feel better, just shows how good the physio is :)
Sweet dreams, Lottie x
That sounds painful. I wish you well, lottie. X
aw lottie hope you are better soon xx
Omg that sounds so so painful!! Sending you a big hug x
Pat I am so happyto read you are doing well - even if the physio is giving you a run for your money (no pun intended xx)
I love your determination in wanting to get back up to your own lovely bed x I have an hospital bed, but it is in my bedroom, I got to like it, no other choice, but you keep getting stronger and it was great that not only your hubby was with you on the night but abers like Choux kept you 'chatting' until the paramedics came along

Thanks all xx

Ducksie. I wonder how really tall people can cope will hospital beds. I have lost height but I was about 5'10" and my legs are still long. When I raise the head end of the bed my feet get jammed against the foot board!!! I spend so much time pushing all the buttons to get comfortable and never seem to manage real comfort!! I hope yours is comfortable. It's also not soft enough!! Better

Are you still in hospital Smow? How are you doing? X
Lottie:
It might depend upon the design of the hospital bed but all the ones I've encountered can have the foot board pulled out to give more room for the patient's feet. Perhaps that's possible with yours?
Hi Pat, I don't have your problem re: being tall, I'm 5ft nothing and the bed is really snug, well, the mattress had to be made a special way for me to take pressure and protect my legs, so it's grand a soft where it needs to be :) I'm sorry you're is so uncomfy though :(

hurry up and get up them stairs, listen to your physio guy xx Ducks
