scart conecting

How do I connect a video recorder, tv, freeview,& dvd player please. Each one only has one scart socket each. I would like to be able to record from the freeview also. I`m not technically minded, so please keep answers simple. Thanks.

Soinds like you need some 2 into 1 scary adaptors. Our Freeview and our TV both have 2 sockets.

First plug the coaxial lead from house areial into the back of the freeview box,then feed the scart lead from this to the dvd, if you have 2 scarts at the rear of the dvd player feed the second unused one the to video,repeating this method to the TV, if only 1 socket then use the male female old style way from the video to the tv ariel socket

you'll have to connect the dvd to the tv via scart as there are no other options there.

connect the aerial to the freeview then an rf cable from the dfreeview rf-out to vcr rf-in. Another rf lead from vcr rf-out to tv aerial socket.

then tune in the tv to the video's signal.And the video to the freeview 's signal so you can record it.

Hi Romko. Did all that before but got either freeview or video. I used a 4 scart thingy. Thanx for replies. As for tuning in HELP. Told you I was thick. lol . The tv is only a portable though.

How do i connect my portable dvd player to other things such as portable games. I know how to connect it to the tv but i got this sensible soccer sega game before, it uses batterys and plugs into the TV, but i want to know if i can use the portable dvd player screen for it when i go on long journeys.
