...to do something very important for my teacher! Our history department is taking us to Belgium soon and the letters for spaces were given to our class today. My teacher asked me to come back at the start of next lesson and explain to the other group but i forgot! This means 2 classes have the advantage over the other class n the trip as the others do not know about it! I havent seen her to apologise I am very scared what should I do!

Firstly stop worrying. It`s not as if youv`e left it a week. Tell the other class in the morning. If you arn`t able to see them, then tell the teacher. When I was your age problems always seemed really huge.

Ellen, I agree. Problems like this seem very big and insurmountable. You forgot because it is easy to get distracted. However, it is not earth shattering and the implications are not too difficult.

1. First thing tomorrow, go and tell the other class. Make it your priority.

2. Go to the teacher and admit what happened, but you have now dealt with it. Suggest that this may lead to some unfairness and you may need jointly to come up with a solution, selection or ballot or something like that.

I'm a bit confused about where the letters are for the people who don't know about it. Do you have them? If so, you can deal with it fairly quickly. If not, the teacher has let you down and the unfairness is not within your control.

another option is to put all the names (once received) into a hat and then it's first come first served as the places are filled.
