30) What fruit is a cross between a Plum and a Peach?
Setter's note on answer sheet.
Regarding Q. 30. The question and answer was sourced from a Quiz book produced by a National Newspaper. 74% of quizzes returned have answered Nectarine, therefore, on this occasion, that answer will be accepted as the correct one. The Judges decision is final.

I do hope you have addressed your anger to the lady personally rather than just on here, I have always got along with her well over the years.
Had I been the setter or judge I would have voided that question to put everyone on an equal footing.
Still, it's now one less quiz for you to get steamed up about.

I have indeed e mailed her with my criticism.I agree with you she should have voided the question. Also I had my Hedgehog quiz result yesterday and found I had 59 out of 60.Having re read his cryptic clue I realise I got it wrong and am quite happy with that.I do not have a problem with being wrong to correct answers but do have a problem when a setter does not ensure his/her answers are correct.
