I'm making cottage pie, vegetables and gravy.

I might make my fiery-hot soup later too. I put a whole bag of Birds' Eye Chillies in the last batch. I've got to send the lurgy packing.

LCG, I identify with that using every pan and surface. I'm dreadful. A former neighbour once popped round when I was cooking and asked Mr BM "what's she making now?". He responded "a f***** mess".

Lol, I don't know if its OCD but when I put the effort in to make something I wash-up as I go. I can't do with a mass pile at the end of it.

Arky, I have a tall, nice looking, rather obliging chap who often washes up for me as we go along. He pours a mean glass of wine too ;-)
