Just watched an interview on Breakfast T V with him.Although he was talking about a book he has helped put together I was struck about how well he looks.Certainly doesn’t look his 80 years.
80 is the new 60, I think.
A few decades ago the idea of an 80 year old man would give you a little wizened old guy with a few tufts of grey hair, bent over a walking stick.
I’m not a football fan so I don’t know what this gentleman looked like in his prime or does now, but I would guess it’s normal for today’s 80 year olds.
There are pictures Cloverjo that you can see.Also I remember my Grandfather at 70 and how old he seemed to me as a teenager.I’m now 70 and still work part time but I think people looking younger is because we haven’t had two world wars to contend with.
