Billy Joel x
Ludovico Einaudi for a much more chilled out type of music.
...Ben Folds, Dr. John, Jerry Lee Lewis
Jerry Lee Lewis, the greatest of them all but how about Floyd Cramer, Fats Domino, Charlie Rich, Oscar Peterson and Duke Ellington.
...and Nina Simone...
If you're desperate, you could always resort to Richard Clayderman
Jools Holland, George Shearing, Fats Waller, Jamie Callum and if all else fails.... Russ Conway!

Axel Swingenburger - who is the greatest boogie player ever.
Axel Zwingenberger is the correct spelling. Do include him on your CD as he is so amazing.
rick astleys " cry for help" thats got a lovely piano backing or any sarah maclaghlan if you like deep and meaningful songs

thats just reminded me of another good one, Fleetwood macs "songbird"
Beazley Phillips Band are a great piano-based group, quite similar to the wonderful Ben Folds.

Tim Minchin is the funniest pianist you'll ever hear, and extremely talented.
...check out Badly Drawn Boy...he plays all of the instuments on the following tracks, although most of his work is guitar based the following are piano based (and beautifull)... Silent Sigh, I love N.Y.E, Donna and Blitzen...all from the soundtrack album About A Boy...
...Tom Lehrer, Little Richard, Winifred Atwell (and her other piano), Coldplay I suppose, NIck Cave (Into My Arms), Herbie Hancock...
Joe Jackson - Breaking Us In Two/Real Men

Suzanne Vega - Left Of Center (featuring Joe Jackson)

Carole King (or Bill Jones) - Goin' Back

Electrelane - You Make Me Weak At The Knees

You could try a CD called "The Piano and the Song" - 2-CD set with loads of this type of music.
