So he uses up these precious school funds sending out a letter to all parents - that must have cost the equivalent of quite a few "books and resources".
But thats probly not the real number calling anyway.

I have noticed sometimes my answers stay in the answer box even after I post and then appear in the next answer box I open and stay there unless I spot it and delete it. Wierd

It almost certainly a genuine call from British Gas. Among the natural cynicism on Mamya's link, there are several posts from people who've actually contacted BG to check out the calls, which have turned out to be genuine.

BG do use automated calls from 0333 numbers to update people on boiler servicing or to ask for meter readings to be submitted, so it looks kosher to me.

Could still be a valid number though william and it may turn out to be someone who MGW14 was a customer of or was expecting to hear from. Some numbers are just not set up for replies. Some major companys are like that. If they answer how can they help as they might not know which of there hundreds or thousands of call centre staff called you
