Has Our Poltergeists Been At Work Again?

This morning we noticed the dishwasher had all lights on signifying overnight use. Neither of us can remember putting it on. It wasn't even half full. I never put it on as I can't remember what to do!
When we looked at plates inside they were still dirty so it obviously hadn't worked. We are both puzzled.

COuld it just simple be that after it last finished a cycle you've forgot to switch it off and emptied it and then started to refill it. Happen's to us sometimes. Its at the end of cycle stage so nothing happens when you close the door

Always switch it off as there are so many lights it's like Blackpool illuminations. There were at least 2 days of crockery in there.

it's the spook season, Caran. Someone's moved our food waste bin a foot overnight, and my sister wants to know who put on the light in her attic, as the switch is too high to reach unless you're on a ladder.

Lol. Don't worry. I had a picture randomly fall to the floor, after it being in place for 14 years.

Luckily, it did land on the floor, and not the ceiling, so, clearly gravity. I hadn't noticed that the slight movement over 14 years, had affected the picture, wall or hook. So, to me, it was sudden and unexpected. In reality, took 14 years to get to that stage.
