Euthanasia should it be legalised?

I am discussing Euthanasia at Uni today and whether when we graduate as doctors will we perform them should it become legal.I decided that I would not but I was wondering what you thought.I do not necessarily feel it is because it is wrong to take your own life but because it is impossible to conduct it without corruption.If Euthanasia was made legal elderly people would feel pressurised or bullied to go for Euthanasia.What are your views on Euthanasia?

I do not agree with anbody having the right to kill anybody, not even them selfs.. And I fully believe the people who kill them selfs pay a nasty price on the other side.. But that is just how I feel.. Each to there own right.

How old are you? How many people have you known who are in continuous pain or other suffering and who have just had enough of what life has brought them to? I don't think that you should be making your mind up at this stage of your training.
