Unfriendly, Or...?

Something else? Another observation about neighbours.
Does anyone else have neighbours who can be exceptionally warm and chatty sometimes...2 days later it's like a cold wind and the only communication is a grunt.

No - our neighbours on one side are chatty when we see them, and on the other side, we are close friends - both are consistent.

I only have two neighbouring homes and we seem to see each other very rarely. I have nobody to talk too over a garden Fence!

I last spoke to my neighbour in April. He said he was going to invite me to his June wedding. I guess the invitation got lost in the post.
Anyway, he’s loads better than previous neighbours who woke me up at 5am with Elvis every day.

I’m very lucky - on one side is a couple in their sixties with their eldest son, and they are all lovely. Always say hello. On the other side is a recently divorced guy who again is lovely.

I keep my neighbours at arms length. Friendships/proximity can quickly turn sour & become a festering sore. Saying that I get on well with the ones I do talk to.

Never a good idea to become best friends with neighbours. No escape if it goes sour.

Most of my neighbours are lovely, particularly on the end next to me. He's always up for a chat and I know he looks out for me, his elderly neighbour.
On the other side is the hot/cold neighbour(s). She is the unpredictable one...her partner always has a big smile. I hardly ever see her...in fact I discovered by accident 2 weeks ago, meeting her in the street, that she'd had a baby over 5 months ago!! And she chatted that time...a few days later she just grunted. So maybe a lack of sleep.

I'm very lucky I do have lovely neighbours and one of them is a Man City fan (he knows I support (United) always polite and respectful. the otherside to me are warm and friendly too.

I'm very lucky in that I live in a condominium and it's very seldom that I see or hear my neighbors.
