They are talking about Albania in the article but we have thousands of islands, why not adapt a convenient one of those as a processing centre?

This from the Guardian:
"Albania’s foreign minister, Olta Xhaçka, and its ambassador to the UK, Qirjako Qirko, dismissed as a “fake news” a report in the Times suggesting Albania would be willing to host people arriving in the UK from France in small boats.
Raab appeared to give credence to the report by telling Times Radio: “We are looking at international partnerships that can take the processing out of the UK in order to try and reduce the pull factor which means people think they can successfully take advantage of these routes.”
On Sky News later, when Raab was asked if people seeking asylum in the UK would be flown to Albania, he said: “Well that’s one country, but we are willing to look with partners at whether it’s possible to do this international processing.”
" ...Tirana reacted angrily to the report. Xhaçka tweeted an image of the front page of the Times and said: “Same old fake news this time in the front page of a respected paper as The Times! And btw I am not a ‘he’ but a ‘she’ who has always admired the quality of British media. Sad.”

But Albania doesn’t want it: and in fairness to Mr Raab, I don’t think he was actually saying that is what they were doing. Just dine wishy-washy stuff about exploring the possibility with other countries - I’d be interested to know which if any.
Left or right wing is irrelevant: it’s plain common sense.
I thought foolishly to start with that this amazingly was a serious thing that had been properly thought through but I don’t think it can be.

Regardless of what Albania thinks of the idea (and they would be crazy to entertain it) does the government really think it will be able to simply bring people ashore in Dover (courtesy of HM Border Force and the RNLI) and then simply take them to an airport (Manston is nearby and not used at present) to fly them to Albania? Do they not think the Yuman Rites lawyers may have a little input?
Sorry - pie in the sky.
