Will Helena be the next Maria?

Does anyone think Helena can pull it off now? She has a good voice, it is just her eyebrows and mouth that can be off-putting. Connie just seems to smug to win it for me and Siobhan can be a rather duff singer.
Personally, I think Andrew Lloyd Webber she get the role. He is undoubtedly the funniest thing in that show. Especially when we see snippets of his face when the girls are singing.

I think she just might do it!
I thought connie could do it all along but now that helena has stopped gurning, she is actually quite pretty when she sings.
I know what you mean about connie's smugness, she must know she's been the favourite all along. I wonder if that may put people off her. Also, sometimes in these sorts of things the favourites can go because people don't bother to vote for them.
I can also imagine helena being made up as a "girl" and quite ordinary, yet able to be transformed into a lovely young woman later in the show when the captain falls for her.
I can't imagine it being easy making siobhan look remotely plain and I think connie would just look the same wehatever they do to her makeup!
I also agree with you about ALW, he has some strange facial expressions and seems very uncomfortable sometimes. I think he's probably a shy, self concious man really. But I have grown to quite like him.

I haven't been watching it but apparently she does not live too far from me. Perhaps I should watch the final.
