Radio Codes

Does anyone know of a reliable site where I can get the radio code for my Nissan?
The battery was disconnected and now my sat nav, radio, reversing camera etc doesn’t work.

Yes unfortunately not written down, and Nissan are saying I have to book it in for a diagnostic thingy as due to data protection they no longer give out the code

there are websites - google nissan radio code - the top pick looks reliable, prob cost you a tenner.

Yes I have had it over a year.
Dave I did that paid £16 and the code doesn’t work and they are not responding to messages %%%****##

You need to find a local, independent car audio dealer, Redhelen.

They'll either plug into the car or, more likely, remove the head unit and for the serial number and interrogate the chip to get your code.
They can also disable the code altogether.

I don't know much about modern car electronics (who does!) but I wouldn't have thought the radio code thing should also disable the satnav & camera. Maybe it does.

How old is the car?...I'm surprised that radio codes are still required.
My last several cars have had an "auto recognition" system, which does away with the need for codes to be entered.

...and I tend to agree with davebro. Are you sure that a radio code is the problem? Perhaps, having the battery re-connected, requires some re-set procedure to get the items operational again.

The sat nav etc is all in the same console and works together, so yes I am sure it’s a radio code required

Hi, we had the same problem with our Qashqai, husband got a code off someone on internet, which worked. I have texted him to ask what it was.

Hi, RH annoyingly he can't remember. He went on EBAY and searched for Nissan car radio unlock pin code. You will need to take a photo of the message you get on the Nissan Connect screen of serial no. , device no. and date of manufacture. Husband was only charged 99p (gave £5). This was August this year, about 10 mins later had code, it worked first time. Sorry I wasn't able to give you the actual number.

the number won't be the same for all cars of that make and model.

Thanks Parsley, I now have a new code unfortunately the system is now locked which means I have to run the engine for 60 minutes in order to unlock it.
As I am leaving on holiday tomorrow it will have to wait till we return
