Anyone seen Part 1 yet? The usually hobby John Lennon hardly says anything, yet McCartney never shuts up. All down to the editing, no doubt. Does this mean Paul or Yoko had editorial control?
Not seen it yet, but all comments on advance screenings appear to confirm that the original Let It Be film was edited in such a way as to make The Beatles appear to be miserable in each other's company, wheras the new cut shows them being far more creative and harmonious as a unit.
Yes they were on the way out - but nowhere near as close to breaking up as the original film has had us believe for forty-plus years.
