my sister is nearly 14 (three months) and has a job as a paper girl. She will be on 44 a month and would like to start a little savings account where she can take the money out of it herself at an atm. Is it possible for her to do this? Which banks allow it?

However, she now wants an account that lets her have a Debit Card so that she can buy things on the internet. Abbey do not do one for her age but I am assured by National Westminster that she can have one so she will get one. I do think the other main banks also do a Debit Card - if your sister wants one - or certainly most banks do an account with an ATM card.
