I got completely muddled up with Grayson's Art club and and a programme (on Sky Arts I think) with some bearded bloke who does awful landscapes using weird techniques. He's American I think,

Oh yes!

Not Bob Ross, but very 50s 60s. I think that's what Tony meant. We went off topic :0)
I think that's what Tony meant.

Exactly what I mean't, pat.
I only discovered Bob Ross very recently. Art snobs who think they’re above such methods need to understand that any encouragement to give it a try is valuable. I like him … but I’m obsessed with mountains too. My fellow artists call me the Rock Chick.

I loved drawing, especially portraits, but painting isn't my thing atheist. But when I painted it was always delicate watercolours. Quite a few good artists in our family. My mum was great with oils, but I'm not a fan.
I find his technique interesting, naomi.
I love Bob Ross. I find his show the perfect "wind down" TV. Great to watch last thing before bedtime.

Art snobs, music snobs, food snobs, wine snobs, etc etc., Naomi. I really haven't any time for them. We all have different tastes! ;O)).
Nor me, lottie. All up their own bottoms.
I have nothing against his techniques. I just don't care for the finished product, it's not something I find attractive...appealing...whatever.
Pasta, I think the idea is to encourage people to have a go.
