They are starting 9-11 year olds this week here in Andalucia. In our town they expect to cover them all within a week.

Pointless. The new variant crowding out the others is much less potent and rationally will be treated the same way we treat other existing mild viruses. Regardless of age. Plus younger folk are seen to be even less likely to suffer symptoms at any level than the adults are. It's all overreaction by frightened governments, who in turn frighten a portion of the population.
