I think I have been here long enough and done enough posts.

Have you set one up via Gravatar? The Ed doesn't give them out like gold stars.

yes but my profile continually says i need to do -149 (minus 149) days and 10 more posts but that never changes and I don't seem to be able to activate my avatar. I have done over 50 posts. I think there is some sort of bug in the site coding.

If the instructions on the link on that thread still avail you naught, as I said, emailing the Eds with further problems is probably your best bet.
