What is the best way of cleaning your glasses without buying a cleaner? Mine always seem to be so greasy .I try not to handle them too much.Thanks.

Washing up liquid squirted over the lenses, Rub gently with your fingertips. Rinse with warm water, and dry with toilet paper.
Soft toilet paper, preferably quilted and not Zamo.
Buy a proper microfibre lens cloth.

Tissues and toilet paper should be avoided - they are wood fibre and could leave fine scratches
Hopkirk is absolutely right.
As Atheist says, except just shake any drops off and then let them dry themselves while wearing them.
The only thing I ever use is a fine-textured microfibre cloth (very slightly damp)...no cleaning solution neede and never paper of any kind.
Washing-up liquid and fingers followed by dry on linen tea-towel.

Thanks everyone for your varied replies.Merry Xmas to one and all.
Tissues do a good job of cleaning your specs.I find that if I use the cloth supplied the lenses get greasy after a while,
^you can buy much larger versions of the supplied lens cloths (good selection on Amazon) - which are very fine-textured microfibres that I mentioned above.
After using for some time, they need a quick rinse in hot, soapy water, then rinse in cold water, then dry...good as new and last for years.
Well worth the initial outlay.
You mean you don't just huff on them then wipe them on your dressing gown sleeve?
I bought a dressing gown just so I could cut off the arm and it works a treat...
dish soap and a microfiber cloth work well for me
