Can anyone tell me what the best animation software? I know there is so many animation software these days but what do the expert used, i watch a programm the other day how they thought pyramids were built and they had some very cool animation going on.

ToonBoom Animate Pro ($1195) is popular with professional cartoon makers :

Maya ($3495) has been used to create special effects for films such as 'Shrek':

Hi Chris.....I can be taken to task for digressing on this thread because I am unable to answer the OP and am now seeking information concerning yourself....and acknowledge that my enquiry could be deemed as 'out of order'.
However, whilst always appreciating the responses which you give to myself and all folk within AB, I have noticed that you often refer to prices in dollars.
