I have picked up a fair stinker of a cold and feel quite unwell - i wasn't going out any way but this has really knocked me for six.

Morning all. Emmie- this a quote from the Daily Telegraph this morning “ZOE Covid study said that they estimate that 75%of people with cold type symptoms are likely to have symptomatic Covid” best to have a PCR test ASAP

Not like me to be posting on this thread. I’m curious emmie why do you not test yourself for covid ( or maybe you have )) ?

Omicron is more likely to present with cold like symptoms than the other variants things like sore throat and funny nose rather than the usual cough. Any cold symptoms should. suggest the need to get tested PCR rather than LFT
