Bodelwyddan Mutiny

I remember visiting a beautiful white church in North Wales when I was a child I think it was a place called Bodelwyddan (please excuse undoubtedly incorrect spelling). I recall that there were a number of first world war graves there and that my late great grandfather (who joined up under age in the Great War) told me that there had in fact been a mutiny there although the story put about was that the men died of mass influenza. Does anyone know anymore about this to solve an interested child (albeit now a mildy curious adult's) curiosity, please?

St Asaph's church is beautiful - I used to go to boarding school in the castle across the road and we would have to walk down to it every Sunday in Crocodile style! By the way, you spelt Bodelwyddan correctly!
