I had expensive champers last New Year's Eve, Clover, but I'm on ultra-cheap fizz this year. (Prosecco, £4.49 a bottle in a Morrison's Black Friday deal). It's surprisingly good!

Happy New Year , was in bed at 10-30 , it being very mild we had the bedroom window open so I woke up to the sound of fireworks and they felt like they were on our front lawn

Nope! I'm not that silly. However I had been planning to drive up to Sheringham to watch loads of nutters jumping into the sea but alas, like nearly all other Christmas/BoxingDay/New Year's Day dips, the event was cancelled this year :(

So I was, indeed, snuggled up with the moggies this morning. (Well, two of them anyway. Chequers was sleeping on my bed, pressed firmly up against my back. Tablo was on the pillow, equally firmly positioned against the back of my neck. Moonbeam stayed downstairs to enjoy sleeping on my desk without any human disturbance for a while).
