Deedpoll Or Divorce

I changed my last name by deedpoll back in 2008 but then married into that name in 2009. I'm about to get a divorce and would like to go back to my maiden name. Can the name be changed back legally through the divorce or would I need to change it by deedpoll again?

after your divorce, you go back to the name you had sort of on the day you signed the marriage document

but I dont know
I am very of the opinion that if you sign yourself snotty-loo and pay all the bills you have run up in that name, then they cant touch you ( no intention to defraud or deceive)
