Why are people so nasty to call centre staff sometimes? Im human too you know- Im not just a machine >O( I feel like Im teetering on the edge of waking up in a padded room wondering why my hands are tied behind my back. Now if you excuse me Im off to hide in the bathroom to have a good cry. Sob. Wail !

Waldo I agree- Im a punter as well and sometimes I find it difficult and really frustrating. Sometimes bad customer service is due to a lack of training, bad management and poor joe soap at the end of the phone is just doing his best for his wages.

Don't take it personally. NOBODY HATES YOU ! They just get frustrated to the eyeballs at not being able to talk to the person who actually manages their account, knows the answer to their problems, or who has the authority to sort things out. You are the poor soul on whom they vent their anger. I know they shouldn't, but with more and more companies opting for this poor method of so-called "customer service" to save money, I suspect Call Centre Rage will increase rather than decline. Better look for another job soon !
