Hi everyone! This is our new thread, the previous one is here - https://tinyurl.com/3hszzvh6

As we move into Game Week 19, Covid is once again causing havoc with the schedule & this weekend - *as it stands* - looks like this -

Sat 18th - 2 matches, 1st kick-off 15:00
Sun 19th - 3 matches, 1st kick-off 14:00

Helpful sites -

The second link can be useful near to, or on, Game Days, though final updates can be infuriatingly late.

You can set your Captains for all upcoming match days in advance or choose them daily before the first kick-off.

I'll try to keep you updated with any further postponements, but if you see something before me, if you could add it to the thread, I'd be grateful.

Other than that, as usual I'll post further reminders & schedules during the next month.

Stay safe & well, all :-)

I wish you all a happy & healthy New Year :-)

Bump for the info above ^ - however, there are now only 4 matches scheduled for Sunday. I believe the latest postponement is Southampton v Newcastle.
No confirmation as far as I'm aware about Sunday's game, nice one well in.

Chelsea v Liverpool is also in doubt, pending test results.

As a neutral a game I'd have liked to watch.

Morning all - *as things stand*, there are three matches on today & 1st kick-off is 12:30

Morning all - *as things stand*, there are 4 matches on today, with the 1st kick-off at 14:00.

I would caution you to check your teams *as close as possible* to kick-off, as there are quite a few players due to leave for the Africa Cup of Nations. For example (there are other players), as I type this, Mohamed Salah shows as unavailable on the pitch, but is still selected on "Team News" (link in OP).

The "Injuries & bans" link in the OP shows him (& the others) as unavailable & was updated yesterday, so that would seem to be the latest info.

News sources I've looked at aren't much help at the moment, which is why I suggest checking later. I'll try my best to keep up & update this thread accordingly.

Ok, I've just seen this from the Sun - https://tinyurl.com/2p8ctaur

"A statement read: "CAF (Confederation of African Football) has decided that for those players who have official club matches between the 27 December 2021 and 3 January 2022, the participating member associations in question are to be directed that these players may remain with their clubs to participate in these matches and be released after the last match during this period.”

"As a result, Liverpool have Mo Salah and Sadio Mane among their ranks for their big clash with Chelsea on January 2."

"Here's how the Premier League schedule looks currently, although things could change due to the enormous amount of games postponed over Christmas due to Covid-19 outbreaks."

Gameweek 21 (PL players AVAILABLE) - January 1-3
...
Gameweek 24 (PL players RETURN in time for these games) - February 8-10

"Available" & "Return" refer to those players involved with the AFCoN.

From that, I read that all players *should* be available today.

Bump - as far as I can see, the info above ^ still stands.

If things turn out differently, well heigh-ho... ;-)

Afternoon all. Firstly, there is one match scheduled today - Man U v Wolves - kick-off 17:30.

Secondly, the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations will mean all but 4 Premier League clubs have players missing from their rosters for a while. More info here - https://tinyurl.com/yafbyp2s

I'll try to keep on top of updates regarding returning players & will of course post further schedules for Premier League matches.
