Just want to let you know that via a site we have where I live ie NExt Door or something like that. A young girl contacted me and wants me to re-learn my keyboard skills tomorrow in my home.

She runs a group session or one-to-one. I hope it goes well after so many years. Will have to spruce the keyboard.

I am in my local Nextdoor group, too. Brilliant for local news. How much is she charging, JJ?

If I were to go to the group session (which doesn't suit me with the hearing loss) - she is £20 a month.

One to one - £15 per half hour but I have asked for one hour tomorrow to Start me off.

just in at 2.30 am from friend's - first time in over 2 years - had a great wee night - home made fish and chips - I didn't want it but of course when they put it in front of me - I ate and very nice too. Husband and wife (very happy) but fight over who is cooking - husband cooked it and wife annoyed LOl she wanted to cook - I didn't give a toss - but I believe they fight who cooks. God I'd love somebody to cook for me.

back to the real story - loved the wee girl for piano lessons - even tho she is only 22 - she has a real maturity and respect for the "elderly". Got on great. Loved every second and I can't believe how some of the notes are coming back to me - mind you baby lessons, nevertheless loved it all. Also she thought too for the first time in 16 years I done very well. Can't wait until she comes back next week. I have 8 pages of lessons to learn.
