Why are people ignorant & racist?

After viewing peoples posts earlier regarding immigrants/muslims, I'm really shocked & disgusted of their thoughts. Like I have said in a previous post, people really need to be educated properly about peoples religions, culture, poltics etc before they can make comments like this. People need to get use to living in a multi-cultural country, full stop!

Boo, I agree with much of what you have said. Stereotyping people does not encourage everyone to live harmoniously or foster mutual understanding. There is good and bad in EVERY race. I find racism very difficult to tolerate and that means from whatever direction it comes. I don't descriminate where racism is concerned.

malibu, you don't have a reasoned argument. You are showing ignorance, bigotry and a lack of education. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, of course they are, and to voice it too. But just because people may disagree with you it doesn't mean only their opinions count.

What your juvenile ranting does prove however, is that it is in fact you that cannot cope with others opposing your opinion and you don't have the intellectual resources to debate the issue. I respect your right to voice your opinion. But I don't respect your opinion.

By the way, I freely admit that I am prejudiced.....Prejudiced against anyone and everyone who preaches and attempts to spread racial hatred. Can you not see that YOU are one of those people Malibu? You are just as bad as any Muslim who preaches hatred of the western culture.

Sonak, you are right, people need to be educated. But that should mean people from all races and cultures. It's the only way to remove ignorance and move forward towards inter-racial acceptance and respect . It's a long time away but it's a lot nearer than it once was.

How ironic that morons like this malibu cretin, with their stunted little received "opinions", bang on about Britishness yet don't seem able to write or speak in English. It's almost certainly down to brain-dead bigoted parents, further fuelling my fantasy that sub-vegetable specimens, as I'm presuming malibu's parents are, should be vetted before being allowed to give birth.
