Who but the hardest could ever forget seeing the Queen sitting alone at the funeral of her husband while even the night before , a party was in full swing at among the MP,she cut such a lonely figure in her time of need and comfort from her family, like thousands more up and down the land

Having respect is fine but lots of people i have never met and don't know have their funerals the day after i might go out in the evening, or go to a party! i'm not being disrespectful to them by having a good time

What do people do at wakes? they raise a glass or two to the departed, sometimes they even have a party to commemorate the dear departed extraordinary life.

HM could not and did not make that decision that affected you
The government did
But then the government and their staff failed to follow their own rules that even HM had to and did abide by
Do you get it now ?

As for what I did
I stayed in and followed the rules just like the vast majority of the country
Others in power did not and have lied about since
Those who seek the highest offices in public life will always remain accountable
That is part and parcel
Except Boris and his entourage feel that the rules and accountability do not apply to them
