I think it depends on what system each country prefers but I could be wrong......it has been known.....lol

There are so many differences, both large and small, that you would be best reading a textbook on Constitutional Law for our PM's jobs and rights. Equally, a book on the American political system should do the job. It took a whole term of law lectures on Prime Ministerial responsibility and powers that it wouldnt all fit on here. Sorry I'm not of more use...
