I met him at Gatwick south terminal once, 1st class lounge of BA, not that large. He went up to the bar/coffee sandwich corner and the next thing was that this titch-*** of a man comes into Sean's personal space between his body and the counter and looks up at him from underneath, Connery more than 6 ft 3, I believe. As he stepped away, I commented that I hoped that he didn't have to endure that too often, Sean having kept his patience...."It happens more than you realise, I just have to live with it." He came and sat down and we had about a half-hour chat.....
